Cordless Salad Makers with Replaceable Batteries: An EU OEM Buying Guide

For brands, importers and wholesale buyers sourcing a cordless salad maker, battery replacement belongs in the purchasing specification alongside cutting results and accessories. Article 11 of Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 applies from 18 February 2027, making replacement arrangements an important consideration for EU product launches. [Articles 11 and 96]

CEOOL Cordless Salad Makers with User-Replaceable Battery Packs

All six CEOOL cordless salad maker models—QC301, QC301C, QC302B, QC303B, QC302D and QC303D—use battery packs designed for end-user replacement. Buyers can select the cutting-drum set, battery display, base and housing that suit their private label range, while reviewing the battery-replacement procedure for the chosen model.

CEOOL manufactures rechargeable vegetable slicers and shredders in Zhongshan, China. The six-model range supports vegetable slicing and shredding, cheese grating, nut chopping and ice shaving with the appropriate cutting attachments.

Choose the Right Configuration for Your Private Label Range

Start with the retail set your customers need. QC301C adds a non-charging storage base and a second slicing thickness to QC301. QC302B and QC303B have the same configuration and differ only in housing. QC302D and QC303D add a battery display to the QC301 configuration and offer different housing designs.

Model Cutting drum set Slicing thickness Battery display Base
QC301 3 drums

1.5 mm No No base
QC301C 4 drums

Functions shared by all six models: vegetable slicing and shredding, cheese grating into fine shreds or small pieces, ice shaving and nut chopping. Use the appropriate cutting drum for each ingredient.

The current range uses an 80W, 7.4V platform, with 1300mAh × 2 as the standard battery configuration. Discuss 1500mAh or 1800mAh cell-capacity options during quotation. A higher-capacity order configuration must still use a compatible pack design; it does not mean replacement batteries can be mixed freely between products.

What Does Article 11 Mean for an EU-Market Order?

Subject to applicable exceptions, the general rule requires incorporated portable batteries to be readily removable and replaceable by the end user. Commercially available tools may be used; necessary specialised tools must be supplied free with the product, and removal must not depend on proprietary tools, heat or solvents. Supply battery-use, removal and replacement instructions and safety information with the product, and maintain clear guidance permanently on a publicly accessible website. [Article 11(1)]

For portable batteries, the requirement concerns the whole battery or battery pack, rather than requiring consumers to replace its individual cells. [Commission guidance, Section 2]

For a salad maker order, request a demonstration of battery access, disconnection, fitting a compatible pack and reassembly. Removing a cutting drum or cleaning attachment is a separate operation and does not demonstrate battery replaceability.

Approve the Replacement Pack Alongside Cutting Performance

A useful sample review covers both the retail function and the after-sales process:

  • Cutting results: test the supplied drums with the vegetables, cheese, nuts and ice preparations intended for your range.
  • Pack compatibility: record the voltage, cell arrangement, connector, dimensions and protection requirements.
  • After replacement: check charging, start/stop operation, drum drive, fastening and any relevant sealing features.
  • Spare-parts planning: agree pack identification, ordering, pricing and support arrangements with the supplier.

Article 11 sets a minimum five-year spare-battery availability period after the last unit of the equipment model is placed on the market. Agree how the supply arrangement will support this obligation. [Article 11(7)]

Does Washable Construction Automatically Qualify for an Exception?

No. Washability or an IP rating alone does not establish an exception. The Commission’s guidance requires consideration of the intended operating environment, safety and whether redesign is possible. Review the selected appliance and supporting information before relying on an exception. [Commission guidance, Section 3.2.1]

OEM Branding, Samples and Wholesale Enquiries

For a private label salad maker project, discuss product colors, logo application, retail packaging, manuals, cutting attachments and the selected battery configuration. For new housing or functional changes, send an ODM brief for feasibility review.

MOQ starts from 1,000 pieces. Current cordless salad maker guidance lists 5–7 days for sample testing and 25–35 days for production; confirm the schedule for the selected configuration and order requirements.

To request a quotation, send your preferred model, destination country, quantity, cutting-drum requirements, battery and spare-pack needs, branding artwork and required delivery date. Ask about the corresponding product and battery documents for that configuration.

Compare the cordless salad maker and vegetable slicer range, review our OEM and ODM services, explore our factory and production facilities, or contact CEOOL for samples and an OEM quotation.

Battery replaceability is one part of an EU-market project. Review the complete selected product and its applicable requirements before launch.
